Meet Millie! A print magazine and digital content program guiding aspiring women across all generations to meet their financial goals through real stories and 100% transparent content together in an enhanced digital platform.
Millie is designed for women to discuss real money and guide them on their financial prospects, investments, savings, and more. The original site featured a landing page with minimum functionality and dead-end navigation. The goal was to create a greater presence for Millie while connecting readers to its previous home on the Synchrony Bank blog. It has recently migrated as an independent content hub, helping women pursue their financial goals. As the art director, I worked closely with cross-functional teams to spearhead the development and design of what would become the framework for a growing brand. I designed a responsive hub around their bold, sophisticated palette and custom illustrations created just for Millie. As part of the acquisition and retention strategy, we've utilized the design to build a home for its print publications, news and insights, special deals, social feeds, and opt-in email modules.
